Whistleblowers: no ‘due’ process

by Deb McInnes, Australia

What I find interesting in this case is that by going directly to the media, there has been no one investigating the small group of disgruntled ‘whistle-blowers’, who they are, nor even their intentions to ascertain if they are in fact or could be vindictive or malicious by nature. The media has taken the lie and ran with it. This level of corruption would be very difficult to get away with in any reputable organisation.  How can this be?

Nothing Like a Little Common Sense

by Cindy Rideout

Regarding the recent article printed in the Brisbane Times (Da Vinci reincarnated? ‘I agree, it sounds absurd’) about Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon and the responses to those articles, it seems to me that what we have on one side is a poorly researched news item sensationalised to ‘sell’ news and keep readership up and, essentially, testimonials on the other side. Testimonials, at best, are taken with a grain of salt.

What are the accusations, overt or otherwise? 1) Universal Medicine (UniMed) is a cult. 2) Serge Benhayon is the cult leader. 3) Practitioners can cure or prevent cancer. 4) Sexual misconduct takes place during Esoteric Breast Massages (EBM). 5) Serge and UniMed is responsible for relationship breakdown. 6) Practitioners overcharge for their services. 7) Selling unregulated supplements. 8) Changing lifestyle habits. 9) Book-burning. 10) Multiple property and company ownership.

Time to inject a little reason. Continue reading “Nothing Like a Little Common Sense”

Freedom to live in our fullness

by Jenny James, Director and Program Coordinator, Sounds Wonderful Pty Ltd, Australia

Having worked in the field of expression and communication for over 10 years I have learnt that it is essential to know ourselves first before we impart information to another.  In fact if we just regurgitate information rather than experience, it all comes over as blah, blah, blah, as my 11 year old son would say. Kids have an inbuilt barometer for these things. It is our experience that inspires another. I have found there is no point in telling anyone else what to do, it must be a choice that comes from them – otherwise it doesn’t work. Continue reading “Freedom to live in our fullness”

‘Love’ can make for a good story

by Sarah Davis, BBSc (Hons), Goonellabah Australia

Serge indicated in a recent email to students that “we need more love in our lives … we need to be more self-loving … we need to care deeply and that society is lacking of nurturing”.  Myself and thousands of individuals worldwide have felt these needs to be true of humanity as a whole and found them to be addressed by the ‘core purpose’ of the teachings of the Ancient Wisdom as presented through the college of Universal Medicine. That ‘core purpose’ being to support people to build love in their lives and to LIVE this love on a daily basis through simple and consistent choices – Yes this LIVINGNESS is possible!

Recent media activity clearly indicates that journalists and critics did not seek and failed to understand this ‘core purpose’, conveniently misinterpreting and deliberately mis-representing Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine.

I Tried to Make him a Guru

by Judith Andras, Germany

I became aware that there is some talk about Universal Medicine being a cult and Serge Benhayon being a guru. I had been in a cult for many years before I met Serge Benhayon and that cult was based on a guru – disciple relationship. And I can say that when I first met Serge Benhayon I tried to make him into a guru, just out of habit and emptiness, it was the way I had learned to treat people that presented great wisdom and knowledge.

I was Searching for the True Meaning of Love

by Julie Goodhart

Since I was a teenager, I was on an endless search for the true meaning of love. What did it truly mean to love myself and love others? Of all the books and articles I read or the advice/musings of others I received, none of it really felt true or made much sense. There was always something missing. In fact, this feeling that there is something not quite right, something missing in the world in general has been with me for as long as I can remember. As we all have probably done, I searched for the meaning of life. Continue reading “I was Searching for the True Meaning of Love”

It’s a Work in Progress and What a Beautiful Work it is

by Elaine Butler

I have known Serge Benhayon, the Benhayon family and the Universal Medicine team for four years and a more loving, dedicated group of people you could not find. When I first met Serge I had a benign tumour which I had been recommended to have removed with surgery but had refused as I didn’t have much confidence in conventional medicine. I felt I could deal with it through alternative healing modalities or spiritual healing and so for some years I tried out various things and despite the claims that were made the tumour was still there. I was reluctantly starting to feel that maybe a conventional surgery was the way I had to go when I met Serge. Continue reading “It’s a Work in Progress and What a Beautiful Work it is”

Connect to Yourself – the Answer is Within You

by Coby

I am writing in response to the unfair and grossly untrue media allegations made against Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine over the past week.
I came to Universal Medicine when all areas of my life and health were so dysfunctional that I knew I urgently needed to make drastic changes. Although I had tried many different modalities, even becoming qualified in some, I had disconnected from myself to such an extent that I had been addicted to a prescription medication (a Benzodiazepine) for many years. Eventually I became very ill because I had become intolerant to the drug. Continue reading “Connect to Yourself – the Answer is Within You”

Making this world a better place for everyone … equally

by Paul Banks, UK

I have just arrived home in UK having experienced the EDG live webcast … absolutely awesome! A huge thank you to all involved in pulling this technical extravaganza together to so many students around the world … Lovely to experience the great atmosphere again but what always really makes Universal Medicine so very special for me is the togetherness, and especially I must say the children. I never fail to become totally blown away when I see them just revelling in the love and the atmosphere that is known to all students everywhere … Continue reading “Making this world a better place for everyone … equally”
