I have learnt so much over the last two years about myself, humanity, and my relationships. It is a never-ending process, one that I am entirely grateful for and committed to. I have at times experienced many moments of revelation, understanding, knowledge, immense beauty and love, coupled with dips and challenges along the way.

Recently I have learned a new lesson that I felt to share. Now you may already know all of what I have to convey, but for me it was a poignant revelation. When it unravels in front of you and actually demonstrates that the philosophy Serge Benhayon teaches is absolutely true, it is a wonderful confirmation – simply magic.

Clairsentience – a Feeling, a Solid True Knowing

I was 17 years old and living out of home with my boyfriend and his family. I had eaten a delicious chicken burger the day before, which made me really ill with food poisoning, resulting in vomiting and diarrhoea. This went on for several days leaving me feeling helpless, lethargic and uncertain of what I could keep down. Once the vomiting had cleared, I got the strength to call my father and ask his opinion on what I should do to help get better. He was a retired GP, living on his own. After our chat, he asked if I could come around to see him as he was feeling lonely. The following day, though still feeling weak and feeble, I found I had just enough strength to get off the couch and visit him.

Clairsentience – Our ability to Understand Life on a Deeper Level

It lives with us every day, we use it every day and yet do we ever take notice of it? The fact that we have this ability to feel more than what our eyes are receiving and what our minds are being instructed to tell us what we are experiencing in and of life.

Clairsentience isn’t a big deal, nor is it something we are alien to, only that as a society we rarely talk about it. When we don’t communicate something it can become taboo or even completely lost from being acceptable in our daily lives. Our Youth Reflect the Truth of Society

A couple of photos shared at a Universal Medicine event day recently got me seriously pondering on a few topics around teenagers from the past, and in today’s society. One photo was of a group of young adults from the 1960’s/70’s who looked at ease with each other, had genuine smiles on their faces, were of a healthy weight range and had a naturalness and openness in their bodies – there was no trying to ‘be anything else’ in them. The second photo was of a group of youths from today. In this photo there was a feeling of unease, a great deal of trying to ‘fit in’, to perpetuate an image, to look cool, and the biggest thing that stood out for me was the ‘to get noticed’ energy, almost in a competitive way. The feeling in both of these photos and what they depicted of the youth back then and of today were of stark contrast – quite a shock really to see so blatantly in front of my eyes.

The Ripple Effect of Love

Everyone is equal and we are all from the same source! Such facts give us a platform to live in harmony, free of conflict, hate and loss, and yet we don’t, so what is the next step for a humanity out of sorts and out of love?

Many of us get a feeling of unease from the news we get fed and while it is often easy to pinpoint events that leave us sad and despairing, the challenge occurs in how to respond in a positive way to the stream of media that highlight global events showcasing suffering and loss, or politicians and industry leaders acting without integrity and telling barefaced lies that satisfy only their hidden agendas. Why are we so Afraid to Truly be Loved?

I have had a deep yearning that craved to be in true relationship with others that was meaningful, supportive and loving and for which I have spent my life seeking but never truly established because I had not first developed love or acceptance of myself – I was expecting it to come from another initially. I was afraid to truly be loved and to be love.

All of my relationships were a great distraction from not feeling or taking responsibility for my choices. I blamed others for my not feeling loved, accepted or appreciated – imposing my own insecurities and lack of self-worth onto another.

The True Meaning of (Energetic) Responsibility

Rebelling against Responsibility

Most of my life I have not enjoyed hearing the word ‘responsibility.’

… It conjured up reactions within me about life being a burden or that someone was expecting me to do something I did not want to do.

During the sixties and seventies when cultural values and norms were being questioned, I was ready to join the masses and rebel against what we perceived as conservative beliefs and values.

The True Qualities of Responsibility

Breaking the consciousness of what true responsibility means allows us to open up to new dimensions and observe everything differently. We get taught that responsibility is to be serious, not fun, a burden, difficult and heavy. What if responsibility is the exact opposite? What if the true quality of responsibility was joy-full, loving, fun, simple and light? How different would our world be if we lived responsibly this way?

Racism, White Guilt and Responsibility

In my experience nobody wants to identify him or herself as being racist. Racism is reserved for ‘other people.’ Should you point out that someone’s behaviour seems racist it will almost certainly be met with indignation.

Given that nobody is willing to stand up and be counted as being racist, it is interesting that we live in a world where racism, sexism and a whole range of other ‘isms’ are flourishing. Countries seem to point their finger at one another and exclaim, “That’s outrageous! … “How dare they! Animals!” It’s ironic really, because from what I’ve seen the animal kingdom has no problem accepting a whole host of species. In fact, the animals and plants operate as though they all need each other in that glorious ecological web of theirs.

Sensitive – We All Are It

Today there was a parade of men and women going past our house to commemorate a traditional rite of the village we live in. As I was standing at a window on the first floor watching them roll past on their horses, a man looked up and greeted me with a military salute and automatically I replied with the same.

In that salute I could feel how far away from each other we are – the salute gave recognition, but it also held the two of us at a distance. I realised this was not a true honouring of each other but a formal way of saying: “you are where you are and I will stay where I am.”
