It lives with us every day, we use it every day and yet do we ever take notice of it? The fact that we have this ability to feel more than what our eyes are receiving and what our minds are being instructed to tell us what we are experiencing in and of life.
Clairsentience isn’t a big deal, nor is it something we are alien to, only that as a society we rarely talk about it. When we don’t communicate something it can become taboo or even completely lost from being acceptable in our daily lives.
If someone is unsettled but their words say “I am fine,” we can clearly feel and know they are not ‘fine.’ If we only have our senses of sight and hearing without our clairsentience, how do we pick up on this unspoken language that has us knowing that they are not fine? Where would we get a sense that challenges what they are saying if we didn’t have this ability to feel? That part of us, our clairsentience, knows that there’s more going on than we can see and hear (touch, taste and smell).
We are so much more than our five senses and as children we have an intimate relationship with the world based on how the energy around and within us feels.
We know as children that there are others that we share this world with: unseen beings and the ‘monsters’ that visit us at night, hiding in the corners or cupboards. Our knowing of their existence is very often dismissed by the adults around us… adults who at one time in their life were the same child who could feel the discarnate beings we share this world with, but equally had their clairsentience dismissed.
We live in a world that is geared to believe in only the physical, or only certain forms and stories of other dimensions of life such as in Heaven and Hell.
We are raised to believe that physicality is the only reality: however ignoring the energetic understandings of life brings with it a false sense of certainty and security. Our feelings are often dismissed as we grow up and we get the message that our feelings are unwelcome; we also get the message that people are more comfortable when we don’t rock the boat, so we don’t mention how we feel. Over time we eventually accept a life of being and expressing less and stop using our innate ability that naturally allows us to be aware of and understand life in full.
By ignoring the basic fact of life, that everything is made up of and comes from energy, and by ignoring our clairsentience – our ability to understand the energetics of life – we are selling ourselves short and following threads of conversation that are void of our deeper understandings of life. Excluding our clairsentience we keep ourselves locked into a bubble that only gives us a part of life and never the whole truth of life.
So when we come to reigniting this ability to clearly feel the world it can clash with the belief that we are only human, that we cannot possibly be naturally powerful. But it is only powerful compared to the lesser life we have accepted and adopted, because when we use our natural clairsentience it feels very normal to arrive at these understandings of life.
The sensation of feeling lost or in the hands of fate, destiny, good or bad luck or randomness in life, falls away as we regain our ability to read the energetic flows and machinations that make the physicality what it is and how it is presented to us.
We empower ourselves in understanding life and with our own clairsentience already built within us we have the best navigational system we could ever need. To have this inner ability to feel our way through life is super empowering and brings with it an ease and confidence within our lives that isn’t reliant on gaining more knowledge or waiting until we experience something to know if it’s true or not, as our clairsentience often can sense what is before us.
Ever had a very strong pull not to go somewhere, only to go and feel that you knew you shouldn’t be there? When we honour this sense it opens up space in our lives, our bodies and our relationships, as often ignoring our clairsentience can bring about an inner tension.
Tuning into our sixth sense can often bring up a resistance or a desire to not look at the choices that we have made, when all the while we had the answers right there within us, only blocked by our choice to play small and unaware. Tuning back into our clairsentience is an ongoing process but one that brings the lightness and joy back to life that we had as a child, unburdened by all the stuff we have taken on to squash how grand we truly are. And unshaken by all the dizzying distractions and confusions that keep us from our inner clarity, we can come to the understanding of the root of any issue.
Our clairsentience is nothing special or reserved for a gifted few, nor is it a childhood trait we grow out of. It is simply a sense that we choose to separate from. Our sixth sense can be reignited at any time as in truth it never leaves us, forever awaiting for us to acknowledge and embrace it once again.
